Our last class before the holidays, the girls learned how to chop veggies for their Veggie Quesadilla. Then they made a fun taco seasoning gift jar to give their parents after class.
Below is our Homemade Taco Seasoning recipe without the MSG or additives. 100% natural and delicious. Make extra to keep on hand! It’s not only for tacos — you can use it in so many recipes! If you prefer a more mild taco seasoning, leave out the red pepper flakes!
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 Teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 dired oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 to 1 teaspoon sea salt (more or less to taste)
you will need a small jar with a lid to put your seasoning in,
We put all of our seasonings in the jar, put the lid on and we shook it all up.
Add 1 to 2 Tablespoon to a 1 pound of beef, turkey, chicken or tofu to make your yummy tacos. I have used this with tempeh and made yummy enchiladas. Enjoy.
