Hey, the year has started out very slow, but I'm so grateful for the blessings that I get when I teach a class. My first class of the year was held yesterday with a group of very sweet young ladies,
We learned that the foods we eat can have a huge effect on keeping our hearts healthy. We talked about what a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks looked like. I mentioned to them that I love to eat oatmeal for breakfast and by eating a healthy breakfast gets our day moving and energized. So we are not dragging by when lunch comes around. The girls came up with fruit, smoothies, chicken, cut up veggies for all of their menu ideas.
The girls and I had fun making our grilled pizza sandwich, raspberry smoothie and some very yummy oatmeal heart shape cookies.
